Конституционные демократы и местные власти в Полесском регионе (1905–1907 гг.)

Abstract

The circumstances of the constitutional democrats' activity in Polessje during the first Russian revolution as well as their relation with the authorities of Chernigov and Mogilev governments have been shown in the article. The publishing and propagandation activities of the constitutional democrats and their participation in the election campaigns to the I, II and III State Dumas in Russia have been considered by the author. The active participants'names of the events of 1905-1907 both in Chernigov and Mogilev governments being cited, the reasons of the cadet party’s failures in the struggle for influence upon the people have been given.
