| Abstract: | The article deals with the Belarusian government’s steps to improve the republican fire protection in the prewar period (1934 -1941), th e legal regulations having been adapted to reduce personnel fluctuation, to raise salary, to provide firemen with special and official uniform, as well as food supply and habitation, to raise social insurance, it resulted in improving the efficiency o f the fire service in prevention and extinguishing fire. |
