| Abstract: | The place and role of symbolic communications in the system of political leadership are defined in the article. The main functional characteristics of symbolic activities of political leaders are distinguished. The distinctions between symbolic and situational leadership are drawn. The processes of personification composing the gist of symbolic communications are analyzed. |
