| Abstract: | The article examines the criteria, principles, and methodology for determining the minimum set of (most functionally active) phraseological units, proverbial units, winged (aphoristic) units, in which the features of semantics, structure, and functioning of phraseological, proverbial, and eptonymic units of the Belarusian language are most comprehensively and diversely represented. The lists of the most frequently used phraseological, proverbial and eptonymic units in the modern Belarusian literary language have been determined. |
