| Abstract: | This article is dedicated to the study of the concept of “aphorism” and its linguistic nature using methods of linguistic analysis. It examines definitions of aphorism, its historical aspects, and its influence on the development of humanistic ideas. Key concepts characterizing aphorism include brevity, single-phrasing, generality, nominativity, discursive autonomy, textual form, reproducibility, stability, idiomacity, and expressiveness. |
