| Abstract: | The article deals with the features of using English when teaching German as a second foreign language at a language university. The method of using comparison when organizing classes in a second foreign language (German) on the basis of English is also considered. Examples of exercises based on the comparison of German and English which contribute to a deeper understanding of the system of a second foreign language (German) are given. |
