| Abstract: | The article discusses interlanguage analogues, correspondences and equivalents of Belarusian and French proverbs. The similarities and differences in the images and concepts, structure and linguistic means of proverbs in the two languages are established. Semantically correlative Belarusian and French proverbs have been identified. Materials have been prepared for the Belarusian-French paremiological dictionary. |
