| Abstract: | The article examines translations of Sonnet 15 by William Shakespeare from the point of view of analyzing the cultural codes “stage”, “youth”, “pictures”, “war”, “verse”. It is concluded that the translators S. Ya. Marshak’s and A.M. Finkel’s works reflect the specific features of the English writer’s system of cultural codes, while reserving the right to a minimal artistic interpretation of the original. |
