Abstract

The article discusses the possibilities of using a media resource for the development of students’ communicative competence. In the context of the modern concept of teaching foreign languages, it is necessary to talk about personality-oriented educational technologies designed to create conditions for the personal development of students. The use of a media resource provides a deeper mastering of a foreign language, contributes to the formation of foreign language communicative competence among students, orients them to the education of information culture, to the formation of skills for independent acquisition of knowledge.
