| Abstract: | The article deals with the problems of reader response criticism. The author gives a brief survey of the developing of critical approaches to literature in the USA in the 20” century. In this article the main distinctions between reader response criticism and other approaches have been shown. The works of some representatives of the mentioned above critical minority are analysed. |
